Step Deco / P.E. Guerin's Step Deco collection was developed in our Jane Street workshop during the Art Deco period, simply known as "Modern" at the time. The bold, geometric, stepped forms of the era were derived from Egyptian and Mesoamerican architecture reimagined with an emphasis on verticality, and were also shaped by zoning regulations requiring skyscrapers to have setbacks as they soared to greater and greater heights. The collection lends itself to a quintessentially Art Deco interior as much as a sleek, modern interior in want of added visual interest.
